Session transcripts now become session notes. Paste or upload a transcript from Fathom, Granola, Otter, or any recorder, and Sage summarizes it into a draft note that leads with the practical core: commitments made, decisions reached, and what to pick up next session, with the detail in short paragraphs below. The draft opens in an editor with a character counter, nothing saves until you confirm, and long sessions fit comfortably. Prefer to keep the transcript where it is? Link mode saves a pointer to the recording without reading it.

Saved notes carry their source tag on the timeline.
If you record your sessions, the transcript is the best record of what actually happened, and the worst thing to type up afterward. Now you don’t. Open a client’s notes, choose Transcript, and paste or upload the transcript from whatever recorder you use. Sage reads the whole session and drafts the note for you.
The draft leads with what you’ll actually reach for before the next session: the commitments either of you made, decisions reached, and open threads to pick up. The session detail follows in a few short paragraphs. It opens in an editor, not the record, with a character counter and a clear view of the session themes Sage spotted. You trim, fix, and confirm; nothing lands on the timeline until you do. Who said what stays straight, and Sage never invents content that isn’t in the transcript.
Long sessions fit. A full hour, or several, summarizes in one pass, and if a transcript is ever cut to fit, the draft says so plainly instead of pretending it read everything.
Notes on paper work the same way. Photograph a handwritten page and Grove reads it into text, one editable line at a time, with a delete on every line, so you fix what the camera misread before any of it is saved. iPhone photos get a plain hint about format if one is needed.
Rather keep the transcript in your recorder? Link mode saves a pointer to the recording alongside your notes without Grove reading the content at all.
None of this requires your client to be on Grove. If a client would rather skip the app entirely, their transcripts and notes still live in the same place as every other client’s, Sage still preps their sessions from your records, and nothing about your side of the practice splits in two.
