Push notifications
Every notification Grove sends by email also delivers as a native push to the client's phone. Messages, check-ins, session reminders, reflections, measurement nudges, all of it. Tapping a push opens the app on the screen that notification is about, not the home tab.
Push Notifications
The lift was smaller than it looks. Grove already had a notification system built for more than one channel, it just only had email wired up. Adding push meant plugging it in alongside email and reusing everything else: the same templates, the same per-person preferences, the same record of what got sent. Every notification Grove already sent (coach messages, check-in reminders, session updates, reflection prompts, measurement nudges) gained a push version on the same day, without changing anything about how those notifications get decided. Tapping a push opens the app on the screen that notification is about, so clients don’t have to go hunting for it.
